Young Dancers Invited to Audition for South Carolina Ballet Productions

South Carolina Ballet invites young dancers to audition for children’s roles in the company’s professional productions of Nutcracker and Dracula, as well as for SCB II, the company’s pre-professional training and performance program.

Auditions will take place in Columbia, Sumter, Lancaster/Indian Land, Hartsville, and Florence for the 2026–2027 season. Selected dancers will have the opportunity to perform alongside South Carolina Ballet’s professional company in full-scale productions presented for audiences across South Carolina.

Children’s auditions are open to young dancers of varying ages, depending on the production and location. SCB II auditions are open to dancers ages 9 and up who are interested in additional training and performance opportunities with the company.

Upcoming auditions include Nutcracker auditions in Columbia, Sumter, Lancaster/Indian Land, Hartsville, and Florence; Dracula auditions in Columbia; and SCB II auditions in Columbia.
