Dracula:
Ballet With A Bite

A Gothic Romance

Details

Since its thrilling premiere in 1991, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite has captivated audiences across the Southeast and remains one of South Carolina Ballet’s most popular theatrical ballet productions. Suspenseful, dramatic, and seductive, this audience favorite proves that ballet can be bold, contemporary, and wildly entertaining.

From its striking design to its haunting atmosphere, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite is a feast for the senses, filled with unforgettable characters, gothic spectacle, and plenty of thrills and chills. The production features an original rock/jazz score by Thomas E. Semanski, whose music drives the tension, drama, and dark allure of the ballet.

Darkly stylish and irresistibly theatrical, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite remains a signature Halloween event.
