By purchasing, accepting, or using a ticket to a South Carolina Ballet performance, event, reception, program, or other ticketed activity, you agree to the following Ticket Terms & Conditions.
Ticket Sales
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as expressly provided in these terms or otherwise authorized by South Carolina Ballet.
Ticket prices, fees, seating availability, and other purchase details are displayed at the time of sale and are subject to availability.
South Carolina Ballet is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers.
Canceled or Rescheduled Events
If South Carolina Ballet cancels a performance or event and does not reschedule it, ticket holders will be provided with information regarding available refund, credit, or other options.
If a performance or event is rescheduled, tickets will generally remain valid for the rescheduled date. South Carolina Ballet will provide additional instructions when applicable.
Service, processing, delivery, or other third-party fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.
Performance and Event Changes
South Carolina Ballet reserves the right to make changes to programming, repertoire, casting, artists, musicians, dates, times, seating arrangements, venues, or other event details when necessary.
Casting and programming are subject to change without notice.
A change in casting, repertoire, or other artistic programming does not constitute a cancellation and does not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
Admission
A valid ticket is required for admission.
South Carolina Ballet and its venue partners reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, harassing, unlawful, or otherwise interferes with the performance, event, artists, staff, or other patrons.
Anyone removed or denied admission because of their conduct may not be entitled to a refund.
Attendees must comply with reasonable instructions from South Carolina Ballet staff, venue personnel, security personnel, and applicable venue policies.
Late Seating and Re-Entry
Late seating and re-entry are subject to the policies of South Carolina Ballet and the applicable venue.
Latecomers may be asked to wait until an appropriate break in the performance before being seated and may be directed to alternate seating.
South Carolina Ballet cannot guarantee immediate seating for patrons who arrive after a performance has begun.
Ticket Cancellation and Fraud
South Carolina Ballet reserves the right to cancel a ticket, transaction, or order where reasonably necessary because of:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity
- Duplicate or erroneous transactions
- Violation of these terms
- Improper ticket resale
- Safety or security concerns
- Abuse of ticketing systems, promotional offers, or discounts
Refund eligibility in these circumstances will be determined by South Carolina Ballet and applicable law.
Ticket Resale and Transfer
Tickets are intended for personal use.
Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes in violation of applicable law or without authorization from South Carolina Ballet.
South Carolina Ballet may cancel tickets that are obtained or resold through fraudulent, deceptive, unauthorized, or unlawful means.
South Carolina Ballet is not responsible for the validity, pricing, delivery, or refund of tickets purchased through an unauthorized resale platform or third party.
Lost, Stolen, or Duplicate Tickets
If a ticket is lost, stolen, duplicated, or otherwise compromised, contact South Carolina Ballet or the applicable ticketing provider.
South Carolina Ballet may attempt to verify the original purchase and issue a replacement when appropriate but cannot guarantee replacement of every lost, stolen, or compromised ticket.
When multiple copies of the same ticket are presented, South Carolina Ballet may admit only the individual whose ticket can be verified as valid.
Photography and Recording
Photography, video recording, audio recording, livestreaming, or other reproduction of South Carolina Ballet performances is prohibited unless expressly authorized by South Carolina Ballet.
Photography may be permitted at certain receptions, public events, or other designated activities. Patrons must comply with instructions provided by South Carolina Ballet or venue staff.
Unauthorized recording or reproduction of a performance may result in removal from the venue without refund.
Patron Photography and Media
South Carolina Ballet may photograph, film, or record performances, events, receptions, educational programs, and other activities for archival, promotional, editorial, fundraising, or marketing purposes.
By attending a public South Carolina Ballet performance or event, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings of the event.
Where appropriate or required, additional consent may be obtained for photographs or recordings in which an individual is the primary subject.
Children and Family Performances
Children must be appropriately supervised while attending South Carolina Ballet performances and events.
Age recommendations or restrictions may apply to certain productions, programs, or events and will be communicated when applicable.
Every attendee requiring a seat must have a valid ticket unless South Carolina Ballet expressly states otherwise.
Accessibility
South Carolina Ballet is committed to making its performances and events accessible to patrons with disabilities.
Accessibility accommodations, accessible seating, and related services may vary by venue. Patrons who require accommodations are encouraged to contact South Carolina Ballet or the applicable venue before the performance so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Personal Property
Patrons are responsible for their personal belongings while attending South Carolina Ballet performances and events.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, South Carolina Ballet is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Assumption of Risk
Attendance at live performances and events involves ordinary risks associated with public gatherings and venues.
By attending, ticket holders voluntarily assume those ordinary risks to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit any right or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
Venue Policies
South Carolina Ballet presents performances and events at multiple venues.
Ticket holders must comply with the policies of the venue in which a performance or event takes place, including policies concerning security, prohibited items, bag requirements, parking, accessibility, food and beverages, smoking, and patron conduct.
Venue policies may change without notice.
Third-Party Ticketing and Payment Services
South Carolina Ballet may use third-party platforms, including Ticket Tailor, Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce, and other authorized providers, to process ticket purchases and payments.
Use of those services may also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policies.
South Carolina Ballet is not responsible for interruptions or technical issues caused solely by third-party platforms that are outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property
South Carolina Ballet’s performances, choreography, recordings, photographs, artwork, logos, trademarks, website content, programs, promotional materials, and other creative materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a ticket grants the ticket holder admission to the applicable performance or event. It does not grant any right to record, reproduce, distribute, publish, broadcast, commercially exploit, or otherwise use South Carolina Ballet’s intellectual property.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, South Carolina Ballet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from attendance at a performance or event or use of our ticketing services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Governing Law
These Ticket Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from a ticket purchase or attendance at a South Carolina Ballet performance or event will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts in South Carolina, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
South Carolina Ballet may update these Ticket Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that ticket purchase.
