Katie Heaton

Katie began her involvement in ballet at a young age. Originally from Seneca, South Carolina, she trained in a variety of dance genres at Foothills Dance Conservatory. She continued her education at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, graduating with an Arts degree in Dance and an extensive performance repertoire.

After three years as a professional dance artist with South Carolina Ballet, Katie returned to the company as a member of the administrative staff. She previously served as Director of Membership and Educational Outreach and was promoted to Managing Director in 2026.
